Naomi’s heel turn, TJ and Nattie’s house closing and Bryan’s health issues fueled another solid episode of “Total Divas.”
So many WWE performers can’t wait to be given an opportunity- one that can take their career to the next level. It appears Naomi has been given that opportunity on this week’s episode of “Total Divas,” but she may not be ready to take the evil plunge.
Although she’s admitted her time as a face after the break up of the Funkadactyl’s has been anything but stellar, Naomi appeared flustered at the thought of being a bad girl. While her gal pals on the roster and even her husband, Jimmy Uso, tried to bring the bitch out of her, Naomi wasn’t quite in her element, yet. Familiar with making the move from a heel to a face, Jimmy got Naomi to at least try to get in touch with her heel side and cut some promo, but by the end of the segment, it was continually obvious she wasn’t ready to take the plunge. Sure, she was planning a new haircut and ring gear, but Naomi appeared anything but prepared.
You’d think that Paige and Alicia Fox’s actions in the restaurant, where Fox threw a drink in Naomi’s face, would have helped Naomi, but in the end, again, they just proved she’s not quite ready to be the heel the WWE needs her to be. Once in the ring, Naomi’s temperament changed and she was able to be a bit more brash, but she’s not quite where she needs to be yet.
